A great day!

The second full day in Makumbo has been going great!

We've already finished the teacher instruction and the video/story for the children!

The kids really were quite attentive and learning (part of the is the fact that we promised candy if they behaved)! Also, we showed them a ten minute video of videos and photos taken on our last trip in April.

We also went and checked on Salliue (I can't remember the spelling of his name right now) the ten year old boy with a club foot (and a hernia caused by the walking on his foot). His foot used to be completely twisted around, because he had broken it when he was five. Anyways, we checked on him, and he has now had his surgery! His foot is in a cast now, and it's back in a normal position! Thank God!

We'd love your prayers, because we are doing baptisms in two hours and THEN taking the Jesus Video (in their language) to a village we have not visited before, but have just recently finished a well there!

Speaking of the Jesus video...the portable DVD player we use for showing videos was acting up in the village, so my dad was testing it back at the compound, and it was working, but then a bunch of the workers in the compound (and our driver) asked for him to leave it on! So when I left to use the internet about a half hour ago, they had brought benches and were all staring fascinated at the Jesus video!

Anyways, thanks for praying!

-Megan!

I want to thank each of you for going to Sierra Leone to share the love and hope of Jesus. We are praying God uses each of you in a special way!
